IT Professional Year Program

About Professional Year Program at William Light Institute

We specialize in the IT PYP only. That means the participants can study alongside other IT participants only and that coursework addresses employment in the IT industry only. There won't be accounting or engineering industry related tasks, scenarios, discussions, presentations, meetings, questions, etc. in class.
100% IT internships. Every single candidate enrolled in our internships has been in IT and, furthermore, reasonably aligned to the intern's field of study in IT in every case!
Employability focused. For our PY graduates who don't get a job in IT with their host company or elsewhere, we always invite them to come back to us for free ongoing assistance with finding employment in IT. All graduates are strongly encouraged to reach out to us for help with tailoring their actual job applications, their resume and an interview role-play after their graduation from the program. This is all offered free of charge because we sincerely care about our graduates' employment outcomes in the IT industry.
The frequency of intakes. With rolling intakes, we have at least one possible start date every single month, if not multiple start dates for the month in question.
Inner-city location. Located on Pulteney Street not far from Victoria Square, our campus is close to both Rundle Street / Rundle Mall as well as King William Street and the Central Markets
