Overview

The Professional Year in Engineering is a program developed by Engineering Education Australia (EEA) to help international engineering graduates find excellent job and learning opportunities in Australia. Endorsed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, it is the only work-readiness program for engineers that is legislated by the Australian government. Providing a pathway from study to employment, the Professional Year in Engineering helps boost the readiness of migration engineers for the Australian workplace through advanced learning and internship opportunities.

The third largest city in Australia, Brisbane offers an excellent learning environment and training ground for migrant engineers who wish to be part of the Australian workforce. As the capital of the sunshine state Queensland, if offers all the facilities, amenities, and services you might expect from a large and modern city. Unlike Sydney or Melbourne, however, Brisbane offers a more relaxed lifestyle. Local citizens enjoy an easier pace of life without the traffic and pollution. This is why if you're looking for a place conducive for learning and honing your skills, you should consider taking up the Professional Year Program in Brisbane.
